Isn’t it time you paid it forward?

The other day a very good colleague of mine sent me an e-mail passing on a very nice piece of feedback someone had told her about me and what a difference it had made to them. Apart from giving me a nice fuzzy glow it was particularly nice to have this “gift” bestowed as its something I regularly do myself and encourage others to do also.
It is strange how we will tell someone something we admire about another person rather than telling the person. If I ever hear any positive feedback about someone I always pass it on. It costs nothing and may make a real difference to that persons day.
If you are a boss the power you have to make people feel special with a well done , a thank you or a compliment is massive.
We all owe it to ourselves as well as all the people we interact with every day to let people know when they have made a difference or done something well. In these challenging times we are living through where the actions of some are causing catastrophic consequences for others, we need to celebrate whats good in the world and try to put the focus back to the positive things we are capable of as human beings.
