Established in 2002, our client, Westley Consulting, is a well-regarded specialist consultancy with a strong client base of primarily SME food and rural sector businesses.  They offer client side construction project management services and business consultancy and always provide ‘gold standard’ services to their clients. Whether it’s a new chiller, a factory extension or a whole new state-of-the-art factory, clients come to Westley for their unique and robust project management process.

They are now seeking to build a panel of freelance Construction Project Managers to lead, manage and deliver projects, working alongside the permanent team on an ad hoc basis. The main objective of the roles is to ensure construction projects are planned and executed to the highest possible standard ensuring budget, time and quality objectives are met and that projects are delivered safely in compliance with all regulations.

To be shortlisted for this role you must have at least 5 years’ relevant experience and a relevant qualification in project management, surveying or architecture.  Experience of industrial / food sector projects is highly desirable and we will need to see evidence of achievements plus your experience of construction project management tools and processes. Above all, you will need to be an excellent communicator and relationship builder, highly organised, meticulous with detail and able to spot challenges before they arise and resolve them when they do.
